Premise

Based on the original fantaserye "Super Inggo," this animated spin-off follows the everyday life of Budong, a young boy who lives a secret double life as the superhero, Super Inggo. In the original serye, Budong was a normal boy who dreamt of becoming a superhero. When it was revealed that he was actually gifted with superpowers, he made his dream into a reality by becoming Super Inggo. This 14-episode animated series focuses on his daily life and adventures with his superhero team and friends.

While it is confirmed that the main three characters are voiced by their original live-action actors, the rest of the characters have no credited voice work; it is unknown if the original cast for said characters reprised their roles. The only other character to have been credited is Toni Gonzaga, who made a guest appearance in the pilot episode. Super Inggo at ang Super Tropa is also considered to be the Philippines’ first anime series due to its inspiration from anime, even mimicking an animation style similar to the genre.

Super Inggo originally aired on ABS-CBN from 2009-2010. It was also broadcasted on the now defunct TV channel, Hero. In February 2023, the full series was uploaded to Youtube on the official Yey! Channel.
